David Rattray Paterson (SIP Design Manager)

“JML Contracts prides itself on being a family run business, which has been evident to me since I began working here 6 years ago. The team take great care on delivering detail on every project we do. I have seen the company grow and diversify over the years, and I look forward to being part of the future development at JML.

I have been lucky enough to be one of the only people in Scotland to be trained in Dietrich’s, a 3D CAD/CAM-Software for wood construction, which provides a solution for planning, design and production that continuously adapts to the practical and changing requirements of timber construction, all thanks to training pathways made available to me through JML.

SIP panels are an innovative, modern and exciting way to build stylish and efficient houses, which will withstand the test of time. I am proud to be part of the team at JML and thankful for all the training and development I have undertaken since starting here 6 years ago. As a family run business, we care deeply about each individual project and meeting our clients’ expectations.”

JML Contracts - Sarah Paterson

Sarah Paterson (Office Manager)

“I am always so proud of the commitment to quality and customer service from JML Contracts. Each project is seen through to the end with a focus and attention to detail that sets JML apart from many other businesses. The SIPs product itself is of such high quality, with sustainable and environmental benefits and that sits very well with my own environmental beliefs. Working with people who are all really nice, good fun and listen to everyone’s input is important to me too – we are part of a valued JML family.”

JML Contracts - Gavin Brock

Gavin Brock (SIPs Operations Manager)

“I have worked for JML Contracts for five years, and over that time the management team has given me opportunities to grow my skill set and really encouraged me to challenge myself giving me responsibility for managing many of the key sites we are building. The training and career progression is seen as a core part of the staff development, and to me this also reflects JML’s ambition, belief and vision for business growth. They want to invest across all parts of it.”

“ I also get to travel around many beautiful (and remote) parts of Scotland and beyond, and I thoroughly enjoy getting to see more of the country in my role.”
